  Of course I remember you. I know I saw a movie (maybe called The Black Notebook)? This would be YA (she'd be 18). Just throwing around some ideas. The Striped Pajamas is a tough act to follow. I know, if it is published, it would be compared.

It's Matt, from California, Michael's friend (just in case you were wondering).   

Regarding your idea, you may want to research "The Stockholm Syndrome"  (to which Patty Hearst is an example of) and build from there.   

Also, I have seen similar story arc's in several German and French films about WWII, although I can't recall the titles.  If and when I do, I'll send them.  

Now  that I know you have this website (got the info from facebook), when I come across people out here that have some connections, I'll refer them to this site.</description>
